(no subject)
I need to get in the habit of posting on here more often again.
Anyway, I had a great weekend! Anica brought Camden to my house and we put both boys to bed, then my mom came over to take care of Evelyn... so we got to go out to the bar and see a band we really like... for THREE WHOLE HOURS!! lol... TOGETHER! Ani and I have not been able to drink together since before I was pregnant with Nolan, sometime before Christmas of 06. She found out she was pregnant almost immediately after Nolan was born, and I'm fairly certain Evelyn was conceived on Camden's birthdate. lol.
So it was a long time coming, and so much fun. I did have to laugh because as we got out of the car at the Dollar I started walking to the back door to get someone out of the carseat. Lol... completely automatic now.
Then today Ben's mom came and picked up both kids, leaving us 4 hours to actually sleep at the same time, in the same place. WOAH. Haha. And around 2, I went and picked up Nolan and my mom and we went to the Zoo!
Lots of good times :)
On a more annoying note, the dropside of Nolan's crib broke... right in the middle, it just snapped as Ben leaned in to put him down. We've got it duct taped for the night, but it's not going to hold.
It's a little frustrating, because now we have to make the transition into a bigger room, which I really did not want to do so soon after Evelyn was born... things have already been somewhat stressful on him, and as much as I know he can handle it, I'd rather not if I can help it.
But here we are. Heh... Hopefully it goes smoothly... fingers crossed.
