Ok, so I know I haven't posted in eons, but I have been reading your guyses entries/stalking you, I just honestly haven't had much to say. But now I'm pissed, so voila! a post!
The play that I've been directing has had to be cancelled because my lead actor quit, and it's been a week and a half and i've had no luck finding a replacement. I'm so pissed there aren't words!!! so now I'll either be doing two full shows next semester, or cancelling one of my planned projects. AAARRRGGGGHHHHHHH!!!! I even got funding from the dean of students and lighting and sound from ASWC. All to be undermined by an emo actor. grrr.
Ok, in rational world, he had a very legit reason for not doing the show, I just wish he hadn't tried out in the first place so I could have solved the problem then instead of now.
But I do have Midsummer to look forward too (it looks amazing, all you whitties had better have tickets already). And I've become obsessed with Spring Awakening the musical (springawakening.com) which sounded like a craptastic idea but has some of the best music I've heard anywhere in a long time. It's more of a indie rock concert than a musical, really...
Also, turns out I'm a pretty good sculptor. I'm really proud of all the work I've done thus far, and my current project (life size statues of Don Quixote fighting the windmill giant, made entirely out of stuff found dumpster diving) promises to be probably the coolest thing I've ever done ever.
Also also, I kinda suck at playpro. and Astro. But I really enjoy both of them... I think leaving school for so long made me dumber than I used to be. But next semester's schedule (see below) promises to take much less thinking on my part.

Ancient Theatre
Seminar of Contemporary Theatre
Scenic Design
History of Greek and Roman Art
possibly Genes and Genetics (currently waitlisted. a 2 credit science class is God's gift to theatre majors)
