I'm happy
It's funny how in just one day, I can have both one of the best and worst days of my life.
Either way, I'm moving on from where I was three days ago.
Only two abstentions (was I expecting more...?) and my mother says, "Congratulations. Wait...who in their right mind would abstain??" Haha.
You just can't count on parents being non-biased.
Then, after some successful homemade salsa (Abbey and Kendra BOTH doubted my abilities to make this...) and a lot of boxed wine, we somehow managed to sell $950 worth of stuff at our sex toy party. Which means I got a lot of free stuff.
I really wish my wife was there yesterday, she would've been so proud.
I miss her.
And the sex toy lady came to Rick's with us afterward, which was a LOT of fun (even though she had to leave pretty early because she has a husband and kids to get home to).
So really, the good's outweighing the bad. And the bad's not worth mentioning because I'm not thinking about it. I am thankful, however, for my roommate's boyfriend who cheered me up by chasing me around my apartment with pots of water until 4 in the morning...and I'm thankful for Kendra who also made me feel better, and who knows the right time to bring me a Dr. Pepper...and who made my day (which was hard to do) when she told me she "almost cried" during the editor in chief interview because she was so proud of me.
So anyway, life is good.
