My theory: William Beckett knows I skipped out on his last headlining tour, and this is his punishment for me. See, William and Sisky (and two Cab kids, provided they are still alive, but that's another story) are doing an acoustic performance at the Hot Topic in Daytona on January 26th, which is awesome. What is not awesome is that you have to buy a CD or shirt to get a wristband for the show, and they're only selling 30, and they go on sale on the 12th, the one day I can't really go down there because I will be at Disney for my birthdaaaay.
...This means I will probably be driving from my house to Daytona and then to Disney. THANKS A LOT WILLIAM BECKETT I'm just glad gas is still relatively cheap. It saddens me so much that it's starting to slowly creep up again.
I went on a different mall adventure today, in the form of the Prime Outlet mall and the Florida Mall, two of my favorite places. Honestly I am a little disappointed with the American Apparel outlet because it seems like they never really get new stuff in, and the best things (Deep Vs and hoodies) aren't marked down in price at all, sigh. Also, I totally want
this for my birthday. In mauve. I would wear it every day. (Kidding, but I would like a new purple Gabe
hoodie, I think I've finally almost worn out the one I have, and it is also technically a Boys Like Girls hoodie which is kind of lame)
Uhh... so the Gators won some game or something, and Tyler and I are wondering why we never got the hang of the whole school spirit thing. I guess it has something to do with having pride/interest in your school. Hmm. Another thing to muse on: high school drama when you've been done with high school for four years. It was still kind of shocking.
I have literally NOTHING concrete on my agenda tomorrow. (It'd be a perfect day to drive to Daytona, but noooooo) I was supposed to close at work, but they realized Oh Hay it's not Christmas anymore and we're back to making $300 a day, so they don't need me. I've been singing this song for a while but LALALA I NEED A NEW JOB. It might help if I made a little more of an effort in that area.
I am feeling sporadic tonight, so let's talk guilty pleasures briefly, okay?
-Jeremiah's Italian Ice. I am grateful that there isn't one closer to my house, because it's SO GOOD and much cheaper than Cold Stone and it would be so hard not to go there every day.
-The Cab. The music, the boys, the whole ridiculous deal. I am smitten, and I never should have tried fighting it.
-The Avatar game for the Wii. Though it is clearly designed for the 10-and-under crowd, it is remarkably entertaining and strangely addictive in its complete and utter RETARDEDNESS.
-The new Britney Spears CD. I am fairly certain Philip brainwashed me to like it, but whatever, it is definitely good to dance to. I am also kind of a sucker for a good circus theme.
-The new song from The Fray. I don't know how anyone still liked them after hearing "How to Save a Life" for the FOUR BILLIONTH TIME but the new song is much less grating and okay I mostly like it because they used it for a Lost promo and it worked really well. Whatever.
-Silly sweatpants from Victoria's Secret that say "PINK" on the back. I am kind of settling because I can't afford Juicy Couture ones. Hey, I live in Sanford, I'm allowed to be a little trashy. Besides, there's no way I can beat the lady in the liquor store with curlers in her hair buying cheap tequila. Ewwww.
-Katy Perry's video for "Thinking of You." Focus less on the melodrama and more on the GORGEOUS OUTFITS. I love the 1940's-era styles.
-Starbucks. Bad in so many ways, yet so good.
On another topic: whoever was responsible for the MyChem calendar this year did not do a very good job. The pictures are all photoshopped weirdly to look "Artistic" and the dates on it blend into the background and are unreadable. Maybe I'll just reuse 2008.
IN CONCLUSION: It is probably bedtime.
