wheww-ness! hmm, where to start?
FRIDAY ARVO: got on janelles bus and went to babysit for some friends of family, and taught their 5yr old to play paper scissors rock, which was kindof a good thing, cause it meant he was entertained for the next several hours and part of the next day, but kindof bad, cause paper scissors rock is kinda tedious after 400 times of saying "one two three - oh! you win!/lose!" i also got served a very, ahh, tasty looking frisbee of grass, weeds, and cotton, which was in fact a plate full of every single type of green vegetable you could ever thing of, a few cauliflowers, sweetcorn bits, and mashed potatoes. sprinkled with a lovely sprinkling of pepper, other wise known in some cultures as dirt. the 3 yr old ran around helping, and the twins decided to try climbing the slide, only they kept getting stuck in the second rung. hmm. anyway, they all fell asleep pretty quick, after a quick check around for monsters, so i had it pretty easy!
SATURDAY: i drove to churchhill for a legals lecture, which was good, i now can see im not going to fail completely, and that i still have a fair bit to do. and then, i drove home again, and i realised with delight that my driving is oh so much better these days! yay! its exciting. i think. and its exciting for the cars that used to get stuck behind me too, when i was too freaked out to go faster than 60km/h. you will be pleased to know i now have to keep checking the speedo to make sure im not going over the limit, rather than checking it to see that i wont be stalling the car from slowness or something. lol, a remarkable improvement, id say!
SUNDAY: i woke up with an awful cold. awful awful awful. and consequently freaked because my oral exam was the very next day. so i decided to stock up on vitamins, fresh air, and sun by spending the day in an algae covered pool, cleaning. you will be pleased to know, 5 hrs later, that pool was spotless. we actually hand bucketed about 10 cm deep of water out of the bottom of the pool, which i thought was a fair effort. and then we got to run around with soap suds and rags and clean the bottom. very fun. at the start, me and younger bro Will were out there with these huge scrubbing brushes, scrubbing the walls, and the funniest thing was when hayley came out cause she decided to help for some strange reason (hayley never gets enthusiastic about helping, and usually never volunteers anything), and rocks up all enthusiastically with a nail brush. her face when she saw the pool though, it was funny. you d have to get me to demonstrate live. too hard to write
ok, ok, i had every intention of finishing this, but i have to go, so tommorrow this will be continued.........
