(no subject)
Was at work til 9:20 last night (the shop shuts at 8 so usually we're done cashing up by 8:30 and can go home) cos stoopid Kelly buggered up the cashing up yesterday (she took an hour and a half to cash up one till) so I had to sort it all out and work out what the hell she'd done wrong. She really is soooo stoopid, I want to murder her. Today at work is gonna be pretty bad prob because she'll be in a sulk when she gets told off and I've got to close with her tonight. I suppose I should try not to be in a mood with her to make it easier to get on, but it really isn't fair that I had to stay almost an hour without getting paid because of her stupid mistakes and because she's not clever enough to count £100. And by the time I got out it was dark and, having watched a crime programme about people getting raped/mugged/attacked recently, I didn't particularly wanna walk home on my own in the dark so I had to pay for a taxi and all because of HER.
Anyway the rest of work was ok, I had to pierce 2 babies though, one of them looked me right in the eyes with tears rolling down, yes, I'm the nasty lady that hurt you.
Met my dissertation tutor the other day, he seems like a dude, am quite looking forward to next year, I'm doing a module on Gothic Dreams and Nightmares which looks really interesting, we're doing Dracula.
Really need to clean up the house cos my family's coming to visit on Saturday, and Mr Gill (landlord) was shouting at us for it being too messy, which has annoyed me a bit for some reason. I guess I like everything nice and clean, it makes you think you're not gonna get a disease just from being in the kitchen.
