work has been crazy.
even though it's been dead and i don't seem to be getting the crazy hours i did the previous weeks...
we (mike, myself --- and i guess pat) have kinda been fucking around with the schedule,
since Ricky's wife gave birth to his first child, a baby girl, Mia Nevada (navarro? navaaaa.... ?)
cool beans. i'm just very like.. WTFd and even though i now get the weekend off (maybe)
and i know i complain about working so much, i'm trying to steal all these hours that are up in the air.
but trying to save some for mikey since he's also alone and a long way from home...
also, i finished Game of Thrones a few days ago, and started Clash of Kings.
i must say, i am quite into this series.
its not too fantasy, there arent many mystical animals (aside from dragons and lion-somethings)
and so far i havent come through any race aside from human.
no elves and no dwarven race...
although there is a dwarf but he is a spawn of incest. or so i think.
and he's smart and cunning and... kinda foul in speech.
but he'd be like your favourite perverted uncle. or something.
he's not all about battle axes and brawn.
the series is more medival than it is mythical.
but i enjoy the hardships that the characters are going through (but would enjoy be the right word?).
there are no numbers or titles for each chapter. just the character's name who's point of view you shall be following.
but i feel like i said that one already.
okay. well.. basically i quite enjoy the series so far.
and i feel like i can't get enough, but i don't want to read it so fast since it seems that
the rest of the series might take a few years before they're released.
also, found a new series to look into... sorta. and the one series i should stay away from.
Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson.
and to stay away from ---
The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan --- until such a time that the rest of the series may be completed and reviewed.
only 'cause i wouldn't want to start a series knowing that the tale would never end because the author died.
I think that's the series my friend James was reading and was so into. aw.
kay, i think that's all for now. time to read somemore. :D
