“How about this?”
“That's a shirt, Parker.”
“Okay, but at least you can move in it. These clothes are totally impractical, okay? There's no range of motion, limited concealment options, and this reflective material would set off a motion detector a mile away.”
“It's a fashion show! It's not Thieves-R-Us.” - Parker and Eliot
“For what it's worth, Sophie was right. You guys are the best I've ever seen.”
“I know.”
“But no one in the world is as good as you think you are!” - Tara and Nate
Review: In this episode the team must help the immigrant workers of a sweat shop type clothing factory that produces knock off of the latest fashion by conning one of the owners into thinking she is about to make it very big in the fashion industry herself. This is also Tara's full fledged member of the team as a member of the team and to say that Tara and Nate do not exactly see eye to eye in how he runs the con, especially when it comes to his communication skills, is an understatement to say the very least!
This episode is one of my favorites for Leverage because if for nothing other reason I love Jacque Bouvier, the persona Nate uses for the con - it is literally one of my all time favorite aliases he has ever used!
The other bits of this episode I love are the “guyliner” scene between Hardison and Eliot, and oh the joy of seeing Parker on the runway as a conscripted model. I also loved Tara's Caprina persona, especually the photo shoot with Parker as the photographer! And I found it to be quite a surprise to learn Tara is able to handle her own in a fight and with the Chinese mafia guys no less!
