Before and now
Just a little house update. I'm gonna post what it looked like when we bought the house and where we are now, as of yesterday all of the rooms have been primed, I don't have pictures of all of the primed rooms yet :)
Kitchen:
The kitchen was ripped down to the studs. 4 layers of floor were removed and the chimney was ripped out, we took out all of the radiators and are converting to gas heat. My dad also removed all of the wiring throughout the whole house and replaced it. We closed off a door and widened the door into the "dining room". This is everything put back together and the sub floor down. You can see what will be my pretty multi colored slate floor all lined up ready to go.
T.V./Dining Room:
Paneling was ripped down, wall paper removed and the walls were skim coated and sanded, drop celing removed and replaced with drywall. Carpet was removed. We are going to refinish all of the wood floors.
Bathroom:
This room was ripped down to the studs and put back together, the tile floor was ripped out and the tile in the shower was ripped out, the only thing that was left is the original tub that is in excellent shape for being 67 years old. We also put a vent in the celing instead of just the light.
Our Room:
For both bedrooms and the hall we took off the wall paper and skim coated and sanded all of the walls. In our room we opened up the closet to put bi fold doors on.
Hall:
The door we closed up was on the left just before the bedroom entrance, that went into the kitchen. Closing that off is giving me more counter/ cabinet space and making the kitchen flow better.
2nd Bedroom:
