Author's Note: Here we finally are. I really do apologise for the several, erm, months it took me to write this last chapter. It's completely finished now, even the epilogue, and will be posted through the next 24 hours. And I'm never, ever attempting a project this size again!

If I was taking this super-seriously, I'd say that I'd hoped the whole story makes the ending less unlikely than it reads on its own, but I try and avoid taking anything that seriously. I'm just sleep deprived, really.
As I'm not taking it seriously, I'd say that I'm just a sucker for a happy ending, however unlikely. And writing a happy ending for these two is one hell of a challenge!
I agree it's unusual. Sometimes it's just nice to be different.
Jealous Master is so much fun to write. It's one way he can show his emotion while staying firmly in character. I have an idea for a whole one-shot fic based around this.
I never intended it to be fluffy, only to see if any sort of satisfactory reolution was possible. On the other hand, I'm largely incapable of writing angst. Well, writing good angst.
If the characterisation's good, then I'm happy. Before the wonderful world of DW fanfic I wrote mostly plays, so the voices come to me most easily. Narrative's a little trickier. I tend to waffle. Like I am now.
Sorry about that. What I meant to say was, thanks for the review, epilogue to follow soon.
