I haven't gotten over the jet lag yet.

Merry Christmas! I'm in Jersey, and I can't sleep because it still feels like 10:00 pm to me. This has to be the longest I've had jet lag during a trip home. Bleh.

I found my high school diary, and the majority of it is incredibly embarrassing. I opened it to find a list I wrote in eleventh grade: characteristics of my ideal man. Are you ready?

- funny
- can look at life in general and just laugh
- Simpsons, SNL, Conan (or any late show - Leno, Letterman) and Kids in the Hall (optional) watcher
- can understand my references to aforementioned shows and any other pop culture icons
- sensitive (to a substantial extent)
- faithful
- let me have time to myself
- won't be embarrassed by dumb things I do lol
- tolerant of people's views even though his beliefs might differ
- cool-tempered
- talks equally or less than I do lol
- non-athletic or accepting of my non-athletic ways
- more than willing to accept me and all my ways
- is ok with me and BFF [Ben Folds Five] obsession lol
- doesn't have to be a brain, but please no one dumber than an ameoba
- allowance of some PDA, not too much
- he'd better be a good driver

I used to use "lol" a lot. I switched over to using "haha"s and "hehe"s in college. Anyway, that list pretty much still stands. I love how a lot of it is basically "he better be ok with my asshole ways." I'm also happy to say my current choice of man (man-choice, if you will) fits all my eleventh-grade qualifications. I don't even think I would change this list much if I made a new one now. Hmm.

I should be writing more. A LOT more.
