The last 2 days have been painful. Busy, stupid meetings, soothing clients and mending fences. Any rest and relaxation I gained over the weekend has now all been spent.
I had a very good weekend. I found Ian asleep and rather sick when I got home Fri. night. But after medicine and lots of fluids and lots of sleep he was well enough to go out with his uncle on Sat. So I got to have lunch with Heather and Trevor and then go to the Haunted Walk in Prospect Park with Heather. We walked for a very long time but the weather was beautiful and we had more time together then we'd had in a while. I had been in such a mood for most of the week, it was nice to just relax alittle.
Ian came home and was again not feeling well. So he went to bed pretty early but then he was up for most of the rest of the night (from about 1 am on). That has been the pattern all week. I'm old now, I definitely need more than 4 hours of sleep a night. He's doing better in general but neither of us can seem to shake off this cold entirely.
Work has been crazy. I took Monday off to spend Halloween w/ Ian (school parade, trick or treating in Park slope, dinner out) so I started off Tues am already buried. I had meetings all day Tues and I was at a meeting all day today. So I have Thurs and Fri to try and get a full weeks work done. should be fun.
My pretty auditor was back today. I got back to the office at about 5pm and he was still there. I still find it hard to believe he's married. He is much too pretty and he dresses far to well to be straight. He does bring the pretty though, brightens up the office alittle. We have absolutely no eye candy in our office. Nothing to divert one's attention from the daily grind, which is a shame, it would atleast break up the day.
I want the new rent soundtrack, I wonder if it is on iTunes
