High Winds
It's been windy the past few days but apparently last night it decided to go crazy. Of course I have a metal wind chime in the backyard that WOULD NOT SHUT UP and hearing the wind "whipping" through the air actually kept me up a bit. Come to find out this morning that on the coast there were winds up to 129 mph..?!?! A little crazy. Not to mention today the winds are 23-30 with chances of wind gusts up to 50. And of course today would be the day when I HAVE to go to Walgreens to get some diapers for Jo and a gallon of milk. I guess I shouldn't complain, as long as the wind doesn't make me fly away. (although as a little kid I specifically remember holding out an umbrella while standing on a bench on a windy day in hopes to "fly" lol) And Dave did come home last night telling me that the wind actually lifted panes of glass out of the mini green house and they went flying across the way, small plants were thrown everywhere and all his Christmas trees were flung on their sides. I feel sorry for him and wonder what kind of mess he found this morning after last night's gusts.
Other than that, no more news on the home front. My christmas cards are still sitting on the baker's rack, filled out and waiting to be filled with a picture to be sent out. I keep telling myself, this week I will get it done. Hmmmm...and it's been 3 weeks already? It doesn't help that there isn't any way that I can actually take the picture of us, and that I need my sister to do so. And it doesn't help that she had an incident where a 250 lb man fell on her and bruised her ribs and it hurts her to breath. (Yes she went to the doctor and is ok, just in some pain..ok a lot of pain.)
But HAPPIER news... I acquired the new Seether cd. :) Oh how I love you.
