Much needed

Last night was the best night I've had in a few weeks. Jo went to bed at a decent hour, Dave and I cuddled on the couch watching Fantastic 4 "Rise of the Silver Surfer" and Jo only woke up once. ONCE! A ha! It's like I was spoiled beyond recognition. And it's Dave's Friday today which means I get him for 2 whole days. Heaven.

I'm getting back on track with things here, I had a couple of things throw me off. But thanks to Larry, he helped me get back to where I need to be. And my house is clean! I mean, REALLY clean. I went a little crazy yesterday burning off some pent up energy and cleaned and sanitized and bleached and aaaaahhh...I feel so much better. Something about cleaning really perks me up. I can't stand a dirty house. It reflects bad on me, the primary caretaker of our residence. Call me crazy, but that's how I feel.

My sister, Dave and I are going to take Jo to the pumpkin patch this Wednesday I believe. It's gonna be great fun. At least I hope it will be. As long as it doesn't pour down rain or something evil like that. I think Jo will get a kick out of all the pumpkins (she LOVES the gourds we brought home) and if I'm correct, the one we are going to has a little petting zoo type thing. I think it will be fun. We also talked about taking a trip up to Woodburn as well, there is some garden store Dave has been dying to see for a while now. And all the outlet stores are up there, so it would be a good opportunity to pick up some Christmas presents.

Have I mentioned that I am actually getting excited about Christmas already?? How weird is that? (ahem, pretty weird if you ask me) I've got the travel bug again, so hopefully our trip will cure that for at least a few months...*laughs*

As for my baby fever, it's still here. Not as bad as it was, although with the recent news of a close friend being pregnant, it has got me thinking again. I'm pretty sure that I still want to wait till at least Feb. to start letting nature take its course, because I am determined to get some money saved up before we add another kid to the mix.  And damn it, I want to be able to afford to get life insurance and dental and what not for Dave and I. This hole in my tooth is only getting bigger after all and it would be nice to get in and fix it before I die of pain. And I still do want to find some part time work to do, especially if the thing with Shirley doesn't pan out.

Off to pick up some stuff, Jo did her tornado thing on the living room this morning and there's always something else to be done as well.
