in an effort to update my journal more here are some ramblings
What is it with kids and waking up early on the weekends? Just finished making Riley breakfast... 2 chocolate chip waffles + sausage. We have a birthday party to go to at Chucky Cheeses, Xana, is turning 6. Xana is Ricks gf's daughter. Rick is Rileys uncle (Rileys dads brother). I still haven't bought her a present, true Amy style.. I'll get it on the way to the party, lol
What I have been dreading lately....
...in December I had oral surgery for a receeding gum on the front bottom gum, they cut a piece of tissue from the roof of your mouth and sew it into the bottom gum. Apparently I am one of the VERY few who it didn't take very well on, so he wants to do the procedure again in April, SUCKS! It was way worse than having wisdom teeth removed, I'm not happy about having to have it done again, at all.
I'm not big on easter, I'm not sure why... I'm not big on too many holidays actually but I made the kids easter baskets and it was kinda fun. I got Riley this 'tooth tunes' toothbrush he wanted, gum, candy in some plastic eggs, a little stuffed bunny and a huge bubble wand. In Alex's basket I got her the same kind of candy, gum, and stuffed bunny... but I got her a memory card for her digital camera and a new camera case... the "easter bunny" was nice this year. lol
It's starting to get sunny outside, bring on the springtime weather, thank you!
I am off work ALL next week, it's spring break so I decided took the week off to spend with the kids, I can't wait till Monday when I surprise them with our little 2 day excursion to Williamsburg. If the weather is crappy and we can't go to Busch Gardens on Monday we can just stay at the hotel where the indoor pool and gameroom is and just be lazy. Sounds good to me... i kinda hope the weather is crappy, I'll like any excuse to be lazy.
