(no subject)
This past weekend was totally crazy.
Friday night I had concert percussion practice from 2:30-6:30 and didn't get home until after 7:00. At which point I can only guess I went to sleep because I can't remember ANY of the evening. huh, interesting. But really..I have no idea what I did after I got home.
Saturday was insane.
-5:45 wake up
-7:00 @ the band room
-7:18 leave to go to the Skyview Competition [[we could only afford a bus to Skyview but not back so most people drove. And for lack of wanting to be around a much of noisy people early in the morning I rode with Dan the marimba man and Brian Judd. It was by far better then the bus]]
- 9:30 perform prelims for concert precussion [[sucky run because Ruyland is on xylo and for whatever reason had no tempo control and dropped out like 20million times and then would come in at random tempos]]
- [[ i think proceded to stick around and help the marching percussion group on]]
- 11:15 Drive home to change for Metro Ballet rehearsal
-11:45 Arrive home
-12:15 Leave for portland
-12:30 Get to Metro [[there was some newspaper picture guy there so we had to get in our costumes and take a few pictures. it was pretty cool but I really had to pee! and once you get the costume on, it takes too much work to get it off.]]
-2:50 Leave metro early to race back to Skyview
-3:15 Get back to our warm up area at Skyview and join in for the short practice
- 3:45 Perform finals [[talk about a kick ass run!! It was tons of fun and we played all the new stuff, even the stuff we just learned lastnight. and Grant played his awesome Timp solo, that hear learned the night before, and eveyone loved it :) ]]
-4:20 Arrive back at metro to finish rehearsal
-6:30 head home, pick up a pizza and the movie Man of the Year and watched it with my mommy.
-10:30 or so...head to bed...soo tired
AND SUNDAY!
i got to sleep in, it was fabulous. no kidding. And then theres the whole day lights savings thing. ugh. whatev. lol
and then I had Ballet rehearsal again from 2-8:30. lets just say my feet were killing me from being in pointe shoes from about 7 hours. They really did hurt a lot.
and so by the time i got home i was totally done for the day. too bad i had homework! but that didnt go very well. i ended up just laying on the floor. And at some point crawling myself into bed.
So today I'm feeling very worn out. It didn't help i had more then five people ask me if i was feeling alright today. most of the time im tired people cant tell, I guess today wasn't one of those days. lol

WASL WEEK! aka i get to sleep in. :)
The Ballet also opens on Friday. And then starts the long haul of getting though 12 shows. Saturday performances are the 17th and the 24th of this month. If you wanna go let me know and give me 15 bucks by Wed. lol
ooo my song for hiphop just came on. sweet. This means i gotta dance to it now. lol
