Movie Critics should be banned
I hate movie critics. WHy does anyone think that any of us should take the opinion of a total stranger and let it decide whether we see a movie?
I love movies, pretty much all genres. I don't go in with a critical mind to pick it apart, I go to be entertained and escape RL for a couple of hours.
I get so sick of hearing critics pan anything that's just good fun and rave about things that actually make your brain work.
A movie critic is giving a personal opinion, that's all, and they might be super picky. I tend to not read or listen to movie critics. But how good is my memory of some of the ones I have read? I am still sore with People magazine for giving a bad review to Return of the Jedi, when it first came out in theaters in 1983. I know, let it go, right? Sorry. LOL
