My first attempt to post a photograph - let's see how it goes ...
Hmm, not great quality, as I suspected, however this was a relatively small item in a glass case.
Anyway, this not the kind of weight used for measuring quantities - it was used by athletes for
weight training! How much more interesting it would be to work out at the gym if we had
equipment like this!
