We have a HEART!
I can't write much, but I wanted to let you know that after over 6 months of waiting my Step-brother has a new heart! OMG I am so happy right now. a big family crisis has fixed itself and I am both happy and scared. He got sewed up last night. They won't tell us anything about the donor heart (the sex, why they died, etc.) They leave that up for the donor family to tell us when we write our thank you.
Now I know whenever I see that U of M commercial with the little boy with his heart transplant, we will have gone thru exactly what his family went thru and more.
Thank the Lord for everything, everyday.
Thank you all for sticking by me when times were tough. It really meant everything to my family and I.
And it's too bad that one person who could not stick it out with his significant other, bailed on her. Too bad he was too self-ish. Sorry I choose my family first.
