Wow--turning 23 next month. My birthday's just around the corner. In the spirit of tradition and the solstice, we're going camping again. I've had some difficulty scheduling things, given dance calendars and Father's Day and the like, but I've decided that I'll just pick a date and let people decide what's important to them.
Here's the plan:
Camping, June 9-11 (that's the weekend before my birthday and Father's Day and All Bal, the weekend after the Nick and Ria workshops in ATL.)
Location TBD. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.
What to bring:
Food.
Booze, if you need it. But no where near the amount we consumed on my 21st. :)
Tent/camping supplies. I recommend bunking up with someone who knows that they're doing. I don't have a stove/grill, so it would be mighty helpful if we could bring all of these that we can.
It should be pretty casual. I'm planning to take half a day off on June 9 from work, hopefully to get set up sometime that afternoon. People can come when they can and leave when they need--but plan to set up on Friday afternoon/evening and stay for the weekend if you can.
When the date gets closer and whether is more predictable, I'll send a more specific list of suggestions. Until then, let everyone know who I forgot. I sent an email, but I don't have everyone's email addresses.
