6/22/06 Bridget arrived at school in a fancy white dress and promptly told Chandra, "When I grow up I'm going to wear a fancy white dress with high heels and lots of make-up...and I'm going to go to Bartell's in it and buy MORE make-up!"
6/16/06 At lunch Henry told Lauren, "If a monster comes, I will save you." Lauren later told Henry, "Take the monster to another place where we DON'T LIVE...to Africa!" Then Teacher Megan asked, "But what will happen to all the people in Africa then?" Lauren and Henry thought about it and Lauren said, "Oh yeah, take the monster to jail instead."
6/16/06 Also at lunch...the kids were making jokes about who they wanted to eat, someone mentioned eating John (our frequent sub and spanish teacher) and Lauren said, "No, don't eat John...I LIKE spanish!!"
6/14/06 When Megan fell down outside and got an "owie" Bridget said "Maybe the wind will come and blow it away!"
6/14/06 "My mom works in Seattle, not on another planet"-Morgan
6/12/06 Kailin asked Teacher Megan what her job is, Teacher Megan said "This is my job, to be here and be a Teacher"; Kailin looked at her in disbelief and said "Well, but what do you do before you come here, like in the morning?"
