Mother's Day
Conversation between me and oldest daughter yesterday:
Me: This is the nicest Mother's Day ever.
Her: Why?
Me: Well, Dad and B. got me pretty pink tulips, then Dad got me a pretty pink drink while I watched Little People, Big World, and Dad's going to make my favorite dinner.
Her: ...
Me: That's all a mom needs to be happy.
Her: So... all moms want is flowers, booze, and dinner?
Me: Yup. That sounds about right.
The whole day was relaxing and wonderful. Suspiciously so. Until they announced the winner of Survivor. That, I didn't enjoy.
