New Neighbourhood
Hello! Yes, I know. I'm actually on LJ! :) How are you all?
To be honest, I didn't do all that much simming in the last half of 2014. I changed jobs and was very busy, so my laptop and my games took a backseat. But things are settling down a bit and I'm getting a routine, so I have plans for sims this year. Starting with this:
This is Voleste's Marigold Valley terrain, which I put trees, wind turbines, the sky dome and a couple of houses on. I love this terrain, it's perfect and small, which leads me on to my next point.
My laptop takes a fair while to load my game and there are literally scores of sims in my main neighbourhood that I made but have never played. So I'm downsizing, picking 3 or 4 of my favourite families to start with and going from there.
I want to attempt what I'm calling an 'Amylu Attempts to Slowly Build A Town Challenge'. I only have up to Seasons and I while I like rules, I can only stick to a couple of them, so this is less a BACC and more of a BATC. A much smaller scale, less rules, that sort of thing. But it's making me look forward to simming, so it's achieved its aim already, really. :D
Now I just need to decide whether I should post pictures here, at Tumblr, some on each or all on both. I suppose we'll see how many pictures I take, really.
