GoS Good Genes

Feb 26, 2012 20:34

So, I had a go at the Good Genes challenge over at GoS (and joined the forum in the process). The aim is to get from Zhulh, with his 'interesting' alien genetics, to a good looking sim at the end.

Zhulh got on well with Pascal, and they were really cute together. They had two sons, Ingelram and Ranulf, who were named after characters in the medieval novel I was reading at the time. Ranulf unfortunately looked like the Immortals masks in the film '300', so Ingelram got to carry on the challenge.

Ingelram had two sons with Chloe. Her genetics are so strong, and she's very pretty, so I had high hopes. Their sons were twins, and while Philip looked a lot like Ingelram, when I saw Ian as a toddler I danced round the room. Ian is named after the author Ian McEwan, and Philip after Philip Pullman.

Ian and Erin have three bolts, and are sickeningly cute together. They're both popularity sims and stalked each other round the shared house so much that I moved them out! :) They had a son and a daughter. Their son Theo was a Chloe clone but male, whereas Daisy is a unique combination, imo:

Daisy was my submission for the challenge. Daisy and Theo were named after the children of the protagonist in my favourite Ian McEwan novel, Saturday. Daisy got nature as her hobby, so I took the opportunity for a few extra photos.

I think she was a very pretty teen. :D I have pictures from all the generations as well as the extra sims, and might upload them to LJ this week, depending on how much I get done of Hypothesis, and how busy it is at work. :)

good genes challenge, gos
