Penny and Bandura memes and some picspam
I've been loving reading all these '10 Things' memes, and was tagged by Jo (joandsarah77) for Penny. So, here goes:

Oppenheim Psychologist, aka Penny
1. As a toddler, Penny danced next to the stereo endlessly. She has done a lot of dancing over her life really: to Freud's piano playing, with Oatley as a teen, at Bandura's wedding, with Cale at the Greek House, with her kids - yet she didn't dance at her own wedding, as the day was more for Freud and Zoe, and it felt wrong to have a stereo there blasting out pop music.
2. Penny probably called her parents more names than they could count (old codgers, the old folk, those old biddies, etc), but loved them the most fiercely of their children as she had very little time to spend with them, being born so late.
3. When Freud and Zoe died, Penny was really upset. Not quite as bad as Bandura, but she had a sad face and pout on her for days. She wouldn't read her books, wouldn't stargaze, and didn't give the kids much attention at all. She also shouted the loudest about it, but that shouldn't come as a surprise, really.
4. Penny calls Bandura on the phone approximately once every other day: for advice, to chat, to check in, to update her, or just to send mild insults down the phone because she loves her sister. :) A few of the mistakes Penny made at university could have been avoided had she been able to phone home and talk to Bandura, but as she froze the neighbourhood, she had to go it alone.
5. Penny loves stargazing, and is disappointed that so far, none of her children share her love of Science. She is very close to being a mad scientist, and looks forward to the metal claw more than anything.
6. Penny was not expecting to have four children. She always thought she'd just have one who would take after her, and Marie would have adequately filled that role for her. But her husband the family-orientated man was always going to have more; now that there are four kids, Penny's happy with what she's got, and loves them all to bits.
7. Ah, the cheerleaders. As Penny would tell anyone who asked, she didn't kill them herself, and it didn't happen without cause. Plus, not only were the cheerleaders brainless and annoying, but they also threatening - they tried to hurt Penny and Mehrissa, and will most likely try to harm the children in the future. They are not a nice bunch.
8. Daisy the cowplant and the ant farm make Penny the owner of the most pets in Pleasantview, as cats and dogs don't exist. Daisy the cowplant is still at university, for those wondering about her.
9. Penny's children are all named after physicists, and (in my book) as there's only one listed female physicist, Jamie is named after James Joule, as in measuring energy expenditure in joules and kilojoules. :) Isaac is Isaac Newton, Marie for Marie Curie, and Tommy (Thomas, yes he has a nickname already) for Thomas Edison. As Penny said to Bandura: only Oatley would give his child a boring name.
10. Finally, Penny would do anything for Cale. Not that she'd admit it to him, especially after he became the first person to shout back at her (twice), but she really does love her husband. She struggled to cope when he wasn't in the house, and there is absolutely no question about it; she wouldn't be able to raise the children without him!

Bandura Psychologist
1. Bandura has actually written 2 novels on Freud's old laptop and published them, both of which were about the development of her children. She hopes to present this work to them before she becomes elder, and is actually a very accomplished professional Psychologist, despite being a stay-at-home-mum.
2. She's currently eating 6 grilled cheese sandwiches a day in the hope that she might possibly acheive her life time want. The last time her total was counted, it was just past 100.
3. Bandura wouldn't admit to having favourites with her kids, but she has spent the most time with Piaget. He understands her the best and although he doesn't really hug people like she and Rose do, he is the most complementary personality to hers.
4. Bandura has hugged approximately 3/4s of the Pleasantview population, because a hug means a thousand words, you know. She was also the first to cuddle Penny when she was a baby, without being pummeled by baby fists, or being thrown up on.
5. Being heir was never a challenge to Bandura, not even when Shaun caused problems about her mandatory gypsy date. She's always had responsibility as the eldest of Freud and Zoe's children, and lived and breathed Psychology since she could write, so she never saw it as a big step to being in charge.
6. Bandura and Shaun probably have the most physical relationship in the family. Shaun never leaves the house for work without a kiss, and he is forever tickling, hugging and kissing her. It gets rather annoying for their kids, but parents will be parents. :)
7. Heidi and Bandura are still as close as they were at the Greek House, and she's another person who regularly rings up the main house. Along with writing and painting, Bandura spends most of her day on the phone, maintaining family friendships (and keeping Penny happy).
8. Bandura misses Freud and Zoe just as much now as when they first left, being reminded the most of where they lived and what they did there, as she still lives in their house. She looks at the painting of them every day, and thinks of them at major family events.
9. Since having her first kiss with Chewy, Bandura has seen him three times. He's come home from school with Penny, Latane and Piaget and each time Bandura has politely asked him to leave, what with it being rather a weird situation. She has only kissed one other man in her life - Shaun.
10. Deep down, Bandura still has her family sim tendencies, and she was overjoyed at all her children's births and major milestones. She looks forward to them all growing up, getting married, and having babies - and of course, Shaun feels the same way.
