I got a job today!!! I'm not bragging, but I can't contain myself! It all started yesterday. Let me catch you up, quickly. I (until February) was an administrative assistant and hourly manager for a chain restuarant. Tornadoes blew through and the location I worked at was heavly damaged and closed for good. I was essentially laid off. I have been looking for something ever since and collecting unemployment. Well, this week marks the end of the unemployment (unless I re-applied) and I got a call for an interview and then bob's your uncle, I have a job. This job is almost exactly like my former one, and all I have do is learn their software system. I am usually good learning software stuff.
A former GM(Palmer) of mine, who now work's for a local chain, gave my resume to one of the owners(Lauren) of that chain. After several phone conversations with Lauren, this position with a different restaurant came open and Lauren told them about me. I called yesterday and got an interview this morning and got hired. I start Monday! My life will be getting back to whatever normal is! I'm including a link to the website just for funsies!
I think tomorrow I will shop for a couple pairs of new pants, since I have lost weight since February. I am down a whole pant size and that is without even trying hard. I may have to try hard now. I'm sorry this is long winded, and possibly confusing, but I was excited!

Oh, I almost forgot! As I pulled out of the parking lot to come home from the interview, the radio played Pearl Jam - Glorified G. See the fates have swung my way, now I hope they swing ya'lls way! XD
