(no subject)
Hmmmmmmmmmmm i think i THINK that was the most annoying thing ever. You know when you write a good update and then hit update and leave and come back and happen to see that theres an error message that it didnt work and you cant go back and fix it cuz it deleted your entry? Yep just happened to me. I'll try to recap here.
First I talked about how much i hate tuesdays cuz its the busiest day of my week but that i should start getting used to it. Then I talked about how my weekend was kinda boring cuz i was sick so i didnt do much but it was nice nonetheless.
Oh and i helped build a picnic table for habitat outside on sunday and i learned how to use a skill saw which was neat. Incase you didnt know I'm quite good with tools ;) hehe What else did i say.. oh yes this weekend i'm not going to be here because I am going away to Interlocken for a leadership retreat. It should be a fun time with lotsa SAC friends. I like these new friends i have made because they are funny people and we have alot of fun together. I still miss my friends in Australia though. It sucks just cuz we spent so much time together last year and now its just like this empty space and i want them to come home!
Speaking of Australia... {enter venting please skip if dont like} so i got an email from my friend Shawn and part of it basically says, "So obviously we really love it here and none of us want to come back so soon cuz we are having such a great time. I wish i could stay another session but I cant afford it and neither can Kate but I think Meghan and Shaina are those lucky ducks. Well okay Shaina is but meghan isnt sure yet" Ummm HELLO?!?! WTF? that just made me real sad because I really want them to come home. Obviously its amazing there and they are meeting so many great people but that just makes me feel like they dont miss home or us :( and then i was mad cuz i guess this thought has been floating around for a bit and nobody ever said anything to me about it which is probably cuz they know what i think and all. I dunno it just upset me this morning. It'll be fineeeee.
Next on my agenda was OPRAH! cuz i was watching oprah this afternoon while relaxing and there was this guy and girl on who had written for Sex and the City adn they wrote a book called "Hes Just Not That Into You" which i mean is kinda harsh but the stuff that they said was interesting. They had alot of guys on who explained what they really mean when they say "ill call you" or "Im not ready for a relationship right now" or "I just want to be friends" (and other stupid stuff) but it was just interesting to hear from a guys perspective exactly what they really mean, no little white lies, no exaggerating or whatever. I kinda want to read the book even though i know my boyfriend IS into me ;) just cuz it looks humerous but good at the same time.
Anyways that was my oprah plug. Then i went to dinner at the DC which i wasnt going to go but ryane called and asked me to and i said okay and i'm SO GLAD I DID cuz they had BAKED HAM which is my all time favorite DC meal EVER and they had this amazing rice and cooked carrots and it was just deeeelicious!
Oooh so ryane has been playing the new SIMS game and i really like it so i'm trying to steal it from her computer to mine. Hopefully it will work.
Alright I have to get ready to go to a meeting thing now haha story of my life this year (but its all good i actually like being this busy it keeps me on top of things :) ) Talk to you folks later.
