The Dalai Lama and George Bush: Could two world leaders, who were born on the same day, be any more different?
Today, July 6, is the birthday of the Dalai Lama and President George Bush. Could two men, born on the same day, be any more different? One is a man of peace, the other a self-professed war president. One is a reluctant leader who describes himself as a simple monk, the other a prideful man who says he can't think of any mistakes he's made. One who prepared a lifetime to better himself through his beliefs, the other who "found" God when drug and alcohol abuse were dragging him down and God told him he should be president.

a big happy happy happy birthday goes out to one of my favourite people ever! His Holiness, the 14th Dalai Lama.
on this day, i hope you all share with me the hope that the lama may someday return to his home, in peace and be free.
