(no subject)
It's been a while. Right now, I'm trying to plan ahead for our trip in a couple of weeks. I'm so excited I can hardly stand it. Joe said at dinner last night (I had to go to the city to get him b/c there was a fire in the station, and there were no trains to LI) that he was "excited" about moving down to Charleston. That made me so fucking happy I almost couldn't stand it. To move is one thing, but for us both to be happy and excited about moving adds a completely new level of happiness for me! I'm so thrilled I sometimes think I can't breathe. My aunt emailed me yesterday morning to tell me that my cousin is pregnant (she's got a baby 2 months younger than Kegan) and she's due in May. I was so excited because I'll actually be able to be around for this one! I love my family in Charleston so fucking much that I couldn't think of a better place to be. Besides that, Charleston is just so beautiful and there's so much to do there. I'm ready to go now, but I suppose we have to sell the house first and whatnot...that's been a pain in the ass, but that was to be expected. I don't know what to do with all the stuff in the house. I guess Joe should ask his grandmother what she wants to do with it, since 90% of it is hers. Anyway, the kids are running around and begging for attention. OOOhhhh...news for the day (Sara, you'll get a kick out of this). Katie's in Boston b/c Cory broke into her house one night and terrorized her and the kids. So, she ran to Boston, where this guy Andrew lives, b/c he told her to come. Andrew is a Harvard grad, and he's a teacher at an all boy's school. He owns 2 houses in Boston. On Katie's b-day, which was Sunday, Andrew asked her to marry him and she said yes. They barely know each other, but he sounds like a good guy. She's supposed to be coming here on Monday for a few days - Joe will be in France, so it will be super to have some company here!!!
