So despite everything I thought my dedication was affixed to I went and met with a recruiter for the Air Guard a month ago. The prospect of my student loans getting paid off sooner and being eligible for a secured loan so I can buy a house sounded far more utopist and tempting until a friend came back from being stationed in Germany and so vividly explained the ungodly smell of the rotting bodies being transported back to the US from Iraq.
