As I check items of my "to-do" list today, I am smiling with anticipation for tomorrow.
Gonzalo and I will hop in the car bright and early for a road-trip down to Aunt Lisa's house in Virginia. It should be a lovely time, filled with good music and conversation, lots of coffee and tea, basking in the sun-shining through the car windows, and the chance to travel a new strip of road together.
Waiting for us will be Aunt Lisa and her family of boisterous-and-hilarious boys, Tim and Laura and baby Maggie, Mom and Dad, and Grandma Lorraine and Grandpa Ward. Oh, and of course the Thanksgiving feast, which will surely be amazing. Yep, it should be a fabulous weekend!
