(no subject)
Well today has been pretty nice so far!
I was able to leave work a few hours early (okay, I need the money, but come on, SLACKERISM? HooRAH.)
I finally found the gray sweater boots I've been wanting in my size, half off clearance, plus my employee discount = $11.45
I then found a hot pink handbag at JC Penney's, half off clearance price = $9.00
(Now that I'm looking at this, I'm realizing that I'm taking this out of my car payment money...but...so...cheap...and irresistable)
Then while trying to log onto facebook through my phone, it came to my attention that the fuckers turned my service off sometime between then and ten minutes ago when I had called my voicemail
So I took the nice long hike to the complete opposite of the mall to AT&T
and they were trying to tell me that I cheated them $40 out of November's bill? So. Not. True.
After much standing around and eavesdropping on other customers while I ever so ~patiently~ waited,
this lady named Meredith says my bill for next month will only be $23 and my service is back on
"Well, $23 plus the $100 my bill normally is anyway, right?"
"No, no, just $23."
So, score. Thanks Meredith, I don't know what you did, but knocking 75% off my bill because your company is a bunch of idiots is A+ in my book and I should remember to give you a Christmas card this year.
I guess sometimes it pays, literally, to be screwed over.
Then I came home and saw that PHEAA mailed my W-2. Steph told me that she saw something from them in the mailbox at the old apartment, so I assumed I had given them that address and that was it. But I guess it's something completely different, 'cause I got that today, and along with my ON papers, my taxes have been filed and I should be receiving my money in ten-ish days :D
