(no subject)
Just a few things;
1) I thought my hair looked awful and had plenty of defenses racked up in my brain about how it's not done, I'm just letting the color settle, etc, but people like it. Not like it, they love it for some reason. They're all telling me to keep it this way. Even when I was on my first break at work and I walked down to get a pretzel, the manager lady and her sidekick man made a fuss and told me how beautiful, gorgeous, lovely, insert-frilly-word-here they think I am, to not change the color, it's nice, it's perfect, I'm perfect...my face must have been maroon from blushing by the time they were done. I don't feel beautiful, but whatever.
2) I'm saving my piercing for next paycheck, when I can suck it up and pay $70 at Checkered Past because at least I know and love them and can rely on them
3) I've been told that EYES SET TO KILL IS PLAYING AT THE CHAMPIONSHIP TOMORROW!!! I spent a bit of time on the phone with Rick trying to figure out how to order tickets. He wants to go to some place in the morning, but I'll probably sleep in lol. Whatever, I'm not too good to buy them at the door
4) Joy and I have decided that tomorrow night is a bar night and everyone will come out and the dress code is slut. Because we can. No mens gonna hold us down yo!
5) Shawn is texting me, begging me to take him to the bar. The old Amy from a year ago would have leaped out of bed, fix her hair real quick, and run out the door. This Amy says "NO. I'm not in the mood and I'm in bed." Wooooo.
6) Once again I feel like the loneliest popular girl in the world.
