I'm pretty bad at regularly updating this.
Things are good though. I'm done with school and I just got back from Virginia.
Big brother Justin graduated from law school at UVA and I am very proud of him. It was wonderful to see and spend time with him and my sister-in-law Anna and my nieces Ellie and Katie.
Ellie is three and has some attitude but is very adorable and will happily give you hugs and kisses if you look sad/pretend to be sad. Katie is six-months and so sweet and happy and smiley.
Mom, Erik, Heidi, and I stayed at Justin's neighbor Nina's (pronounced nine-ah) and she was a funny old lady who loves to play bridge and has a poodle named Fluffy. The campus of UVA is lovely, but not as pretty as the graduation party location.
It was at a winery in the Shenandoah Valley and it was beautiful. My brother hosted the party with his 'Bago Friends which consists of him and eight law school buddies that travel to Atlantic City in a Winnebago every year. His friends were very nice and one of them, Tony, is from the North End/Arlington and he gave me some tips for cheap pizza. I also got to hang out with Justin's other half sisters (he's technically my half brother) who I am not related to but I like very much. Liz is seventeen and will be a freshman at UVA next year. Sarah is twenty-one and will be a senior at Yale. We're facebook friends now of course... :-P.
Monday we had a family picnic at the park and it was very cute. That night we headed off to Williamsburg. Heidi and Erik and I got some free ice cream from the hotel restaurant. There, some thirty-ish townie who was hanging out at the bar tried to pick me up since at the ripe old age of nineteen, he thought I might want to hang out with some older people, namely him. Sketch...
The next day we went to Busch Gardens which was super fun, not too crowded, and expensive. It definately showed how much my mom loves us though because she paid full fare for us to go on every ride while she sat around and waited because she's scared of most rides.
And that brings us to today. We ate breakfast at WAFFLE HOUSE and flew back to Boston. Now the season finale of Lost is on soon, and a pint of Ben & Jerry's Cherry Garcia froyo has my name on it...
