Scary experience
so yesterday was a little scary. I woke up at 7:15 for class, got in the shower and blacked out 3 times. I had to hold myself up to keep from falling over. I then had terrible abdominal pain right below my ribs. Katie rushed me to ER. I got sick a few times there which was awful. They gave me a shot for my pain and an IV to keep me hydrated. They then gave me something to keep me from getting more nauseous. Katie called my parents at about 3:30 and they drove up to see how I was doing. By that point my temperature was at about 101 and my heart rate was fluctuating between 100-110 while i was just resting in bed. They took x-rays and a catscan and found nothing. The doctor called me an "enigma" which didn't make things much more comforting.
I went through 4 IV bags and still my heart rate wasn't going down. After 15 hours of being there, they gave me some vicadin and sent me on my way. They released me without even telling me what was wrong. Today I'm feeling a little better, but not much. So I'm hoping whatever this is, that it goes away on its' own. Now I have 2 tests that I have to retake which doesn't help with the stress. Okay looking at this screen is giving me a headache, time for some more vicadin and some rest. Happy Valentine's day everyone. Oh and don't freak out, the doctors' said I probably won't die.(dark humor)
