Not dead yet
I've spent all summer essentially under a rock for work reasons -- a ton of travel -- and part of the fall digging out from under all the work and writing that needed to be done when I got back, but I'm feeling more human now, and looking forward to various things moving forward.
First, MGM has green-lighted Unascended, the next Stargate: Legacy book! I'm looking forward to returning to the Stargate universe, and in particular to the return of Elizabeth Weir -- but like most things in the Pegasus Galaxy, her return won't be easy or free of consequences. This is currently planned as the first book in a two-book series, with the first book out sometime in 2014.
Melissa and I have been working on a sequel to Death by Silver, and we're in the process of revising the first draft. Possibly my favorite line so far, from the inimitable Miss Frost:
"If the dead bodies haven't driven me away, Mr. Mathey, I think our professional relations can survive admitting that we both know how the human race perpetuates itself."
And there are various other projects in the works, so I'll keep you posted!
