Moments of Fangirl-ness....
Working on the EyeCandy post but a couple of movie news tidbits that make me all squeey.
First is no real surrpise but it's good to have it officially be official -- PJ, Fran, and Philippa sign on for The Hobbit and Sequel. Squee about it HERE.
Now maybe they can get on with the casting. I liked the rumor about James McEvoy as Bilbo. Yes it was just a rumor but it appeals to me. No I'm not a huge James fan but A. I know he can act and B. he definitly looks the part so it works in my head. It sounded like he would be interested in thinking about it when he gave the interview shooting the rumor down so...maybe...
The second piece of movie news is that Rob Thomas and Kirsten Bell got together for a little impromptu powwow about the possibility of a Veronica Mars movie. See HERE. Obviously it's still in the very, very early stages and there are a million things that could cause it from not happening but a Veronica Mars movie would be MADE OF AWESOME. It makes sense that they would consider it they only had three seasons and it's not like they really gave up on it as much as they were given up on. Plus the shows concept fits really well with a big-screen format without a ton of tweaking or having to squeeze in too much backstory for people who didn't watch the show. It's a perfect fit.
