(no subject)

One of my co-workers today stopped me to tell me that they could tell I was losing weight and that I was looking good. It was nice to hear that... I've been trying to... I'm on my cardboard diet... i'm calling it cardboard because at lunch i've been having 2 (and only 2) rice cakes with my meal in addition to other items of course... For breakfast i've been ahving plain oatmeal. Lunch has been a cup of yogurt, 2 rice cakes, a small side salad, and some sort of sweet to keep my sweet tooth in check (lunch only ends up coming out to about 500 calories!) Then I've been eating a sensible dinner... I haven't purposly added in extra exercise. I've been up and about at work more dealing with issues. I've been doing yardwork on the weekends and then occasionally durring the evenings Chris and I will run somewhere like Lowe's or Home depot to look at the plants so I get about 30 minutes of strolling around that way. It's really not that much exercise, but I think the combination of me really watching what I eat and the light exercise is really helping out... now the trick will be once i lose the amount of weight that i want to will i be able to keep it off. i'm hoping that becuase i've slowly been integrating the better eating habits that it will. keep you fingers crossed for me. All I want to do is drop about 4 or 6 size clothing sizes... yeah i know sounds like a lot, but honestly i don't think it is... it'd put me back at the weight i was at after my freshman 15 which wasn't too bad. I've never been a skinny girl anyways so i know not to expect that but at least i'd like to be back down to that size in about a year or year and a half.

Anyways... time to go eat my sensible dinner!
