(no subject)
I had my Estrogen Posse over for dinner tonight. My posse includes my four sisters, my mom, their assorted partners/kids/fetuses, and Abigail. My sister Samantha was kind enough to bring me some Oust to try to chase the smell of scorched cheeseburger out of my apartment. Abigail decided to wake up early today and nuke a leftover cheeseburger from yesterday for breakfast. I woke up to the smell of burning... as someone who experienced a housefire when she was a kid, it got my blood pumping! Anyway, that smell permeated everything. I couldn't open the windows up to air it out much, because it was already hot outside, so we just had to kind of deal with it.
Anyway, it was fun, and good to see my sisters. We don't all get together very often, and Abigail always has fun playing with the other kids.
I need to finish doing some packing tonight... ugh!
