Hardest thing ever
Through 40 plus years, I have done a lot of difficult things, but none compares to the phone call I had to make yesterday. I had to call my Mom, who was visiting family out of state, and tell her to come home because I walked into their house and found my father dead. To have to tell my Mom that broke my heart. I then spent the next four and a half hours dealing with police and the funeral home. If none of you have ever experienced this, I hope to God you never do. To shift gears and celebrate life, I am going to post the first part of a new story. I hope you all enjoy it.
