i get to these points sometimes...
where I feel like sharing something, but I have no idea what.
Here's just a debriefing of current going-ons:
-I thought my last shift to volunteer at the co-op was THIS Saturday, but it's actually NEXT Saturday. I'm sad about it, but I think I'm going to try to make it so it IS this Saturday... I wanted to set aside some time to go camping and such out here before heading back to Wisconsin.
-I've talked to two co-op employees so far about maybe getting a job there. Both of them seemed really enthusiastic about the proposition! This makes me feel like I really do have a chance... Afterall I've been volunteering there since October of 2008. God, I love the food co-ops here and all the people that work at them! <3 <3 <3 <3
-Decided to say TO HELL WITH FOUNDATIONS OF HEALTH SCIENCE! next year. I finished up my chemistry class yesterday and had an epiphany: this guy is going to be my chemistry teacher all next year. He even said to the class, "I'm not too fond of organic chem..." UH WHAT!? and you're TEACHING IT next year? For someone who doesn't have much experience in the math or sciences, I can already tell that it would be one helll of a year. So that brings me to my next point:
-I'm forgoing the midwifery thing right now. I miss the plants I got to know last quarter and working in the environmental sciences. So, I've decided that I'm going to finish up my career at Evergreen in the environmental sciences. I figure I can do the midwife thing in another point in my life. THE PLANTS, I TELL YOU! THE PLANTS!
-Today I will pick up my new typewriter ribbons. It's been awesome writing back and forth to my brother! He's truly been challenging me! SERIOUSLY! I talk about something innocent and he's like, blah blah blah blah, cited here here and here. So I think I'm going to step up my game and do my freaking research so we can actually have some productive conversations! BEST THING EVER!
-GIVE ME TIPS ON HOW TO DETER MY LOVELY CATS FROM CHEWING EVERY IMPORTANT CORD IN MY HOUSE, please!
