Thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday!

<3 <3 <3 <3 !!!

Anyway. This is my downtime. I did not sleep at all last night. Probably not the best of ideas, but you know. Had to get a paper in by 9am. Then class field trip. Then I had breakfast with some of my classmates, even though that proved to be mildly awkward. I just sat there and read and rarely contributed to the convo... Yeah anyway. Then I JUST missed the bus. The bus had just pulled out and was sitting at a red light when I ran up there to get on. The asshole waved me off. UGH! I was so mad. But it turned out mostly good. I had a half hour to waste until the next bus and I spotted the quitting store across from the transit center that I hadn't explored yet. I needed a button.

They only had ONE selection, and it was a jar of two-sized plain plastic primary colored buttons. Not interested. The kind lady suggested Canvas Works down on Columbia, which I am oh-so-familiar (no really! It's the only knitting store in Olympia!). AND THEY HAVE SO MANY BUTTONS!!! IT TOOK ME LIKE FIVE HUNDRED MILLION YEARS TO PICK OUT JUST THE RIGHT ONE! So I missed the next two buses selecting the button, some new yarn, and a couple of needle protectors. :D

I also spent some time talking to my mom. I GUESS there had been some issues going on with my brother. They confiscated his cigarettes at school. Bummer, so my parents managed to smuggle some in to him via a Kaishi cereal box. I offered to help smuggle some in as it might be a little less horrible having his sister do it instead of his parents (my parents are ex-smokers and have a hard time NOT empathizing...). SO IF ANY OF YOU HAVE ANY IDEAS OF HOW I CAN SMUGGLE A PACK OR TWO THROUGH THE MAIL TO HIM, THAT'D BE GREAT!
