so yep. here i sit in my parent's basement. the first time in a while that i've had more than 10 minutes on the computer at a time in a while.. well since the friday we moved. no internet yet because comcast installers are retarded. well not exactly. but the fact that they weren't able to connect it in a timely matter was a very frustrating situation. now i have to wait until i come back. i leave on the 17th and should be returning to olympia on the 23rd or thereabouts.
anyway. so i'm pretty god damned excited about learning some of the plants here and possibly (well i sort of have to) make a tincture from a plant from my parents' land, where i grew up. what an awesome opportunity... but honestly i have no idea what herb to choose. research tomorrow. getting tired.
my sisters were visiting me in olympia for a week.. but damn did that go fast. it was super fun though. we talked about menstruation, sexual health, and relationships. it was very very very awesome. they helped me clean the old apartment and set up the new apartment, which i can't believe they wanted do at all. i am sooo grateful! there's still a lot to be done, but that place really feels more like home than anywhere i've lived since i moved out of my parents'. a truly delectable change of pace, i must say. i was really kind of getting sick of hating my living situations!
so then my sisters took me back as a souvenir... haha their phrasing that i thought was cute.
anyway. the crickets are nice and i love being back with my kitty again. two cheers for cunts.
