it's not so bad being sick when i have tea and homemade chicken soup for whenever (3am yahh!)... mmmm nom nom nom
i didn't think i would make it through the day today at work, but i sucked it up, got burned a bunch (BUT NO MARKS! i swear i'm immune!)... k yup.
oh and i totally bought the cutest gnome ever (made of wool) and a lamp! and a candle holder thing and i think i'm going to buy this bamboo table thinger from traditions! i love that place! fair trade and helluva lot better prices than almost anywhere 'round here. the lamp was about what i would have paid at goodwill! (about, yeah, hmm)
dude, and these were exactly the kind of items michael and i were looking for to make our place more homey!
we helped our neighbour move in.. he seems really nice BUT HIS APARTMENT IS LIKE A HUNDRED TIMES BETTER THAN OURS! AT LEAST HIS KITCHEN YOU CAN ACCESS ALL THE CABINETS! THE STOVE ISN'T JUTTING OUT! HE GETS DIRECT SUNLIGHT!! ANNNND (THIS IS JUST THE WORST OF IT) HE HAS A VIEW OF THE MOUNTAINS THROUGH HIS MORE THAN US WINDOWS!
yep. and he pays $25 more than us. i should have just asked to switch! mannnn now i'ma be all jealous and.. *sigh* THIS JUST MEANS WE'LL HAVE TO HANG OUT THERE ALL THE TIME! hahahaha.
