Lots of different things...
So, I skipped work today. Two reasons really.
The first reason was I got an email last night that said the principal is moving me back to the math department because there aren't enough physics students to warrant having 2 teachers. This sent me into sobbing and texting Aaron to please call me. So, he got out of bed and came all the way back over here just so I didn't have to be alone and crying. He's so freaking adorable. I love him so much.
The second reason was because I didnt get home until midnight last night. We decided to drive down to Orlando this weekend and go to Sea World. We both have annual passes now and decided to get away. So, we got a hotel and spent the night then spent the whole day at Sea World. Then we had dinner at the Rainforest Cafe and wandered around Downtown Disney. I had never seen a live penguin or polar bear. Two of my favorites ever. Aaron said when I saw the polar bear I was ridiculous. So much so, that he bought me a stuffed one. That I think was an absolutely adorable gesture. I really liked Sea World. I'm glad we can go back whenever we want for free.
We decided for vacation, we're going to go down to Cocoa Beach and stay a couple days. Go to Kennedy Space Center (where I also get in for free), just hang around the beach, maybe Ft Matansas.
Then we're gonna spend the rest of the week in Orlando and go to Sea World and probably Islands of Adventure. The perks of living in Florida- cheap season passes and not a long trip...
I did mention to Cole while we were at Downtown Disney watching people that I was kinda sad I grew up here. Being in Orlando and at Disney was no big deal. I saw people buying HUNDREDS of dollars of silly souveniers. And I was sad. Because I can never have that "once in a lifetime" feeling. Its JUST disney. Not like I haven't been there every year I've been alive. Its JUST Universal. I don't go there every couple months. I dunno. Made me sad that it can't be more special. Its just annoying, crowded with tourists Orlando. Go there with a purpose or avoid it at all costs...
I think I'm gonna go play Mario Kart now. I love it! Best Wii game yet!!
