and there has been a funniness in the air as of late a funniness that really isnt funny at all really. a funniness that has been down right weird and not okay at all. so of course i'm happy to tell you that tomorrow is the new moon and rest assured we are going to wipe this slate clean of its filth, good riddens. lots of independant transits are coming these days. which is good to get the new year started off with an inspiring bounce of energy. 2007 is dead and in its ashes 2008 arises. its a good time to set ambitious goals in areas that are new to you and with mercury entering aquarius and tomorrows new moon in capricorn a good energy boost to lend you the extra drive and initiative to explore new territory or start new projects is exactly what the universe has in store. but the challenges arent quite over. please be careful becos we are still in a time of crisis, yes, its being lifted but that happens gradually. make it a point to open up the lines of communication and discuss issues that may arise with people working at cross-purposes to your efforts. talking it out may just save you alot of grief.
first day of my handstands class at lava...
its full of people from my recent lava past who i really enjoy and insecure newbies who have weak cores and seem a little scared. thats kinda cool tho cos last time my class was filled with all kinds of professional athletes (of their own respect, of course--professional dancers, yoga teachers, circus performers etc, yu know lava style athletes) and i was the scared one. my abs are gonna hurt tomorrow, i know it, but i'm still so happy to be back with lesbian acrobatics, i really get so much out of it aside from a workout and stoned from being upside down--sisterhood.
speaking of aries...
cos didnt you know we're always talking about aries's--obviously an obnoxious aries thing to say and i say it inloving jest of my rambunctious brothers (and yes i mean brothers, another insider astrology joke not an insider sexist joke). i have this new friend who's an aries and not only am i realizing that we are able to communicate to each other in a secret language that no one else understands. she is also a serial interupter (a pet peave of mine but with her and some other friends, i am learning to just submit to silence--maybe some people never felt like theyve been really heard and they need a strong silent listener for a second) she also does this amazingly adorable aries thing where everytime she hugs me to say hello or goodbye she misjudges her proximity and steps on my foot a little--i react, she apologises. at first i thought it was really autistic and annoying and now i think its totally adorable in a freaking out with frenetic engery kind of way. of course i can totally relate, sometimes you just get so excited you make those weird autistic mistakes. she's the first week of aries which is way more shifty and way more charming then my week of aries--the second. that week of aries in particular are the kinds that are willing to stick it in whoever shows interest--the most slutty of the arian tribe. i'm in the week of the over zealous, the religious fanatics, political millitants and the really OCD artists--we're a bit more selective. which aries are you? or, if you were an aries which aries would you be? the one thats not a loud mouth? sorry, doesnt exist...
