It was a peaceful Saturday morning. Luke just woke up. The apartment felt to empty again. He really was missing Reid.
Last weekend he voluntary went to help at Ethan his soccer weekend. When he dropped Ethan off on Sunday his Mother asked him to stay for the night. She needed his help bringing the kids to school on Monday. She had an early business meeting and Holden was not back in time from dropping off of the horses he had sold because of the bad weather.
When he wanted to drop off his weekend bag at their apartment before going to the hospital to see Reid. He was just in time to give his boyfriend a kiss goodbye as Reid was busy packing his own bag. He had just gotten a call from Bob. They put him on an earlier plane to the congress he was attending to promote their neurology wing. He was planning to leave early on Tuesday morning and be back Wednesday night. But because of the weather there was a risk that the airports could be closed down.
Unfortunately Bob was right. Reid could not get home because the airport was closed. This was definitely the longest time they have been apart since they moved in together.
