My walk home from the bus stop
As most of you know, my bus stop is about a 15-20 minute walk from my house. And today it was raining. Now...normally, I would mind this, but today I actually had an AMAZING time walking home! I was decked out today in all the appropriate rain attire, from my hot pink raincoat to my kiddie umbrella (with flowers and all) and my gardening shoes (my hole-y soles!). I tell ya, the shoes made it. I went swishing and splashing through pond-like puddles like I was 8 years old again! It was so fun! At one point I was wading through a particularly large pool (okay, not so much wading more splashing) and I turned around to find out there was this guy walking behind me the whole time I was doing my splashy, nostalgiac walk home. I felt a little embarrased but went on about my walk...psh, who cares if a neighbour thinks I'm insane.
