Finally I had a chance...and I get screwed because of bad timing. I finally thought to send my application to a local wedding video place. I called today to see about an interview but they had already just hired somebody full time and aren't looking for anyone. I did better than I thought handling the call (cause I'm a huge wimp) and asked if they'd be interested in anyone doing freelance work if they needed extra help and she said if they needed that they'd keep me in mind. She also said they'd keep my resume. So who knows when they hired them. Maybe if I'd thought of it earlier I could have had that job. This is what I get for hating news I suppose.

So I even applied at the little gas station a couple blocks away from where I live so I could have something while I looked for another job and it doesn't even look like I'll get an interview there either. Am I so not worth hiring that I can't even get a job at a stinking gas station?

If anyone young is reading this, make sure when you go to college that you're in something that you truly love and that you think you can actually get a job related to. Also don't stay in something just because you think you can't change. You can always change. Do what you want and you'll be happier.
