Happy New Year
Happy belated birthday to rainbow_bright!
Firefox wants to make a lifelong enemy out of me, I think. So I lost all my research - again - and some more fic. And a bunch of tabs. I lost some I'm kinda miffed about, but I was able to recall some of it. So I'm caught up on LJ to about the 28th of December... but any tabs I opened after that are dead and gone. *sigh*
On the plus side, I did finish a scarf for my aunt and I watched the last half of Underworld: Evolution. 2.5 scarves still to go, and I have 2 weeks to make them happen. *sigh*
Tomorrow I may or may not be going to a movie. I have no idea other than that. All the girls from work were supposed to be going, but Lori called this afternoon to tell me she was going to Regina and she didn't have the details yet. I tried calling work twice today to see what the plan was, but it was busy both times. Someone should be calling me tomorrow at like, noonish to let me know. If we don't end up going I don't mind, since apparently I have to go back through days of LJ anyways.
I'm eating far too many of these candy cane hershey's kisses. They're "white chocolate" which I normally loathe, but there's cane bits in 'em so I keep eating. *sigh* And my New Year's resolution was to lose weight, too. Do I win for the shortest time before breaking a resolution? I think I lasted about a half hour.
Oh well. My New Year is not off to an auspicious start. I hope yours is better, everyone.
